Another successful Truck Show N Shine on Saturday at the BC Vintage Truck Museum.

We had many visitors, and quite a few trucks (too many to list).

The Inland Group brought two brand new trucks, a Kenworth T680, and a Kenworth 100th Anniversary edition of the W900, the W900L, the 108th out of a total of 900 to be made.

The beginning of trucking was shown by a 1926 Chevrolet 1 ton. Aso there was a 1950 Diamond T model 222. Aso there were three Peterbilts, A 1970 Hayes HD-400, Bruce Shantz’ classic 1965 Kenworth W900 needle nose, a few classic cars, and 1963 Mack C85 fire engine. The show also had a 1965 W 900 logging truck that came across The Line from Whatcom County, Washington State. A very nice Freightliner joined us as did a great collection of Kenworths, including a magnificently restored bright red 1978 Kenworth LW925. He came down from Kamloops. The oldest Kenworth at the show was a very nice 1962 Kenworth W900 which was originally owned by Vancouver-Merritt Freightways.

Pickup trucks were there too.
